Objectives
Taking wall decals to a new level, Kanded Walls Inc. wants to position themselves as a modern home and office decor solution. The temporary wall stickers can instantly transform a variety of surfaces including painted drywall, windows, mirrors and more. It’s fun, temporary and inexpensive.
Solutions
Included in the plan to market this new business, assets were created with the new identity and product designs to be featured on it’s own e-commerce website (Shopify), Facebook and Instagram. All accounts contain measuring tools to guage the success of the overall advertising budget and each campaign.
Results
Being a new business Kanded Walls has gained some new followers on the social media platforms and started taking orders on it’s website since it’s launch in November 2018. Marketing efforts are ongoing to bring awareness and grow this brand.
From illustrations to fun wall decals
From a variety of simple patterns to text, the designs are cut from a thin adhesive vinyl to suit the size, colour and type of project. The applications can be placed on painted drywall, furniture, glass, mirrors or other smooth surfaces. The result mimics a “painted with stencils” look that can be temporary or permanent.

Shopify e-commerce
Kanded Walls Inc. is an e-commerce store hosted by Shopify. I created the theme, implemented the products and set up the SEO and measuring tools. There were plugins added to allow users to create their own custom text or quotes, choose their own fonts and colours. Orders are then cut and shipped on demand. I researched the plugins, installed and styled them to match the creative guidelines.
Product Design
Installation is a key consideration for all product considerations. The designs will fall under categories related to the best room suited to the design including kitchens, bathrooms, kids rooms, laundry rooms and more. The designs are created in illustrator and then converted to cut files for the vinyl material cutter. Designs are also set up on walls and the photos are used to market to potential customers to see what they look like installed.
Custom text creation
Knowing the variety of designs that could be created, Kanded Walls wanted to allow customers to unleash their own creativity and give them a easy interface to customize their own text to be cut on demand and shipped to the customer to install as they please.
